Afro-Caribbean Business Network (ACBN) was founded in 2017 when a group of local business owners decided to start a business network within the Black community. They wanted to bridge the economic gap for entrepreneurs of African and Caribbean heritage.
ACBN provides Black entrepreneurs the resources they need to start, grow, and scale up. They work closely with entrepreneurs to help build a lasting legacy within the Black community. ACBN gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to connect and learn at workshops and networking events throughout the year.
They are celebrating their 5th anniversary this month and just announced their exciting strategy for the next 5 years.
Their upcoming free Pre-Symposium Workshops give entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn how to grow and sustain a business. Topics focus on financials, people, planning and
customers. Workshops happen on the second Wednesday of each month until January 2023 leading into ACBN’s annual Legacy Symposium event in February 2023.
They currently need volunteers, increased awareness about ACBN, partnerships with other Black Ecosystem organizations, and new members within their community of Black business
owners.
